Insurance law

We advise our clients on insurance issues. This may involve establishing whether there has been material damage, clarifying general or special exclusions (such as the sheet pile clause, the coating clause, or the concrete clause), or issues such as cover during the maintenance period and liability matters.

The insurance cases we deal with concern standard construction-related insurance such as Contractor’s All-Risk Insurance and working material insurance as well as, for example, the professional liability insurance of architects and consulting engineers.

We represent insured parties which have been unable to obtain cover, as well as insurers. If it turns out to be impossible to find a satisfactory solution on the basis of consultation, we will proceed to take legal steps as necessary, either via arbitration or the civil court.
