We deal exclusively with issues which are subject to Dutch law, on the basis of both Dutch and foreign terms and conditions, which are usually in English (FIDIC, NEC3).
This also includes disputes relating to working abroad, particularly in the offshore industry, but also in other areas.
Moreover, we support foreign companies that execute or advise on projects in the Netherlands. This means (usually Belgian, German and French) companies that operate in the Dutch market in partnership with Dutch subsidiaries, as well as companies which execute aspects of Dutch projects entirely (or almost entirely) from abroad.
In cases in which no Dutch law applies to the (entire) dispute we have, since 1999, collaborated with law firms specialising in private construction law, which means that we and our clients can collaborate with the best construction law lawyers in key areas of the world in which our clients operate, for example at the ICC or other international arbitration institutions.
