About Bert van der Zijpp
Bert van der Zijpp is active in civil construction law and procurement law.
Bert van der Zijpp studied Ancient History and Dutch Law at the University of Amsterdam. After graduating, he joined the Municipal Ombudsman’s office in Amsterdam in 1988, before becoming secretary to the Arbitration Board for the Construction Industry in 1992.
In 1997, he made the transition to the legal profession. He started at Houthoff in Rotterdam and came to Rozemond in 1999. He mainly deals with civil construction law cases.
Bert van der Zijpp lectures regularly, at the Netherlands Institute for Construction Law and the VMRG, the Dutch organisation for facade constructors.

Pertaining to article 35b, paragraph 1, of the Dutch Legal Profession regulations. Bert van der Zijpp has registered the following areas of law in Netherlands Bar Association register:
- Construction law
In accordance with the Netherlands Bar Association standards, this registration requires me to obtain ten training credits for each area of law registered.
